___16.  Geology and Geodynamic Evolution of the Andes and Sub-Andean Basins:
Implications for Hydrocarbon and Resource Potential.
This study offers a multi-disciplinary, well-integrated analysis which places cost-effective constraints on the interpretation of basinal evolution and characteristics.  The geology of multiple basins is assessed in conjunction with and supported by extensive industry records, and then fully integrated with state of the art understanding of paleogeographic evolution and tectonic processes.
A detailed framework is developed which allows cause and effect consideration of developments along the trend.  Implications for hydrocarbon history are carefully dervied from this analysis, as verified and further refined by considerable field studies in several of the basins.  Detailed assessments of basins are presented on a country by country basis, which can be broken out individually or in subsets with the more regional elements to create tailor-made studies of certain areas.  Extensively illustrated and discussed in great detail.
